View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : Beadable Magnifying Pendant
Does anyone know where I can find the beadable magnifying pendant? If I uploaded the image correctly, this is a photo of a bead/pendant made by Mitra Totten from page 13 of Beads of Glass. My search on the internet gave me her web site (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) but the site only shows a logo.
Any help would be appreciated!

Oh I like that, it's small. I hope you find a source I think I would like to get one too.

Oh, I'd love to find this too!!! I checked the the link to Karen Thomas' page, and she does have wonderful things, but her mag glasses are the hand-held type (unless I missed something!) and this pendant one is so darn cute!!!

I contacted Karen Thomas a while back and she had no idea where to get them. I also contacted Cindy Jenkins to see if she knew how to contact Mitra Totten, but she lost touch with her after her bead pendant was in the book. She thought that it might be some European item that isn't available here. Any one across the pond have an idea...

I talked to McDuck about this a while back maybe if a few more email her we could start the ball rolling
How about this one at Rings & Things?
Approx. 5 1/2" total length and the beadable part is only 2.4".

I too have been looking for something like this. Ladies would love to carry these in their purses for phone books or menus.
Please Please someone find these.
Here's one I found. Not sure if it's the same thing though.

Thanks to C-Ann and Reenie, but I'm really looking for something that you can wear as a necklace/pendant rather than the hand held ones. I'll drop a note to the address above and see if I get a response. Thanks, Simbasmom!
If you find a source be sure to post :)

Yes please let us know.
I'll be sure and post to this thread if I hear anything. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one interested. I sent an email to McDuck in case she wants to work on it. I'm hopeful we'll come up with something.

These are the closest I could find... they look like they might be able to unscrew and accept a bead, but who knows...
I found this...a bit pricey...

You're very welcome.
What size mandrel would you have to use for the 7mm size tube?

Oh, I didn't think about that. Guess I better order some mandrels. Based on my calculations, 1/4 inch should do the trick.
Oh that is sweet!! Thanks Jhana!!

Thanks Jhana for the links - there are some really cool things on the site :)
