Quick Connects?

I'm wanting to buy quick connects for my torches and I'm confused about which kind will work best. I see that there are two types, which one to people normally use?

I have 2 torches, 1 tank and one oxy-con. I would like to be able to swap oxy sources on the 'Cuda so I can use the inner fire on the just the oxy con if that's all I'm doing. Make sense? I would also like to be able to bring my torches to other people's houses and connect them easily, so what do I need?

I use the hose to hose quick connects from Sundance (Western Enterprises brand) and attach them with the A2? connections also available there. The A2 connections on the end of the hoses are permanent and the quick connects can be unscrewed from them. I think they are B fittings.

How that translates to using them on other peoples setups, I don't know.
