does nay one know how long i should make my bench it will be right up a metal shed lined with plywood with cement board and i dont want to have a hole in the wall lol.

Mine's 4 feet deep though I probably could have gotten away with 2.5-3. Part of it depends what angle you wind up liking the torch at. Straight out? Go longer. Angled further up? A little shorter. Just keep in mind that some of that heat's going to bounce off the wall at you if you're right up against it, so give yourself a little wiggle room.

In regards to the angle, I've been working a little of both lately, though I still would say I could lop the bench down to 3 ft and be fine.
