Question with propylene and my hothead again....

I just switched from mapp to propylene. 7lb tank on both. I've never had a problem with mapp. Now I went to start up my torch and I had the biggest flame ever and it was spitting gas out at the same time. Can someone explain this to me. Now I'm afraid to light up my torch. Why is their gas spitting out and why was the flame so huge?

Turn down the fuel nob..... That's what it is for...

Many people think opening valve and getting as huge flame as possible it the way to go.... But no.... By turning valve down and getting civilized well behaving flame is what you want to do....

The spiting could be the polymer in the hose leaching out and being pushed through torch by the fuel...
