According to the site http://www.glasschallenge.com/sep_oct.html:

Sept. / Oct. Challenge

Theme: Halloween

Rules: Entries should be pendant / bead / sculpture made from any COE glass and use of any colors

Prize: Cricket torch (http://www.glasstorchtech.com/cricket.html): right now, the introductory price is $139, but the regular price is $167

I entered too! So many cute beads and sculptures there - since I'm still pretty much a noob, I'm not holding my breath and have ordered a Cricket Torch anyway (special, i.e., Pink Torch, Black Knobs, Red/Green Ends - ready mid-Nov., I'm hoping!), so I'm wishing everyone great luck!

I didn't see this thread earlier - hoping the winner is announced here so I can congratulate them personally!

Mine is that silly looking "Grandpa Dracula" with all his wrinkles!!! Although he's clearly seen countless Halloweens-past (and lost nearly all his choppers!) he's managed to hang onto those all-so-important FANGS!!! It's this guy (who's since found a new home a-la-Etsy):

Thank you! I wouldn't exactly call it awesome :-) It is a marble, but I figured it counted as a sculpture since they are round :D

Wouldn't they at least post a listing of the winners here? I'm a newbie too (sort of -- I've only been at this about two years now) -- I did the cat in the jack-o-lantern with his tail coming out of the mouth.

I prefer to hope they're having a hard time narrowing down their winner's list -- they ALL look good to me!

I'm pretty sure they would let us know here, as well as notifying the winner directly - after posting it here in the first place, they'd BETTER!!! (Giggle!)

I agree - there are many darling and over-the-top cool beads/sculpts submitted; I wouldn't want to have to pick! I'm sure it isn't easy...

We just have to hold on...
