Hi!
I'm a newbie and just bought this from Arrow Springs for my propane tank, not realizing until I got it that this particular model doesn't come with a visual gauge, just an adjustable knob. Does anyone have one of these and know how I'm supposed to adjust it to the correct pressure with my oxycon? I'm worried I'll somehow set it to the wrong setting and mess things up! :(

Thanks, Lori

Got part number or AS stock number so we can "see" what you got?

Hi, Dale! *Ü*

It's Part# REGPRO-ADJ and has a brown knob on it that you can turn from a - sign to a + sign and that's it. There's also a kind of notch on the metal base of the regulator that I think you can use to guide where the knob has been adjusted in relation to the -/+ signs, if that makes sense? If not, I'll try to take a pic of it later tonight, k? (The website doesn't have pics of it either.)

Thanks!
*Ü* Lori

Why don't you call AS and ask them. They have always been great with answering questions.

You could always get a "tee" fitting and put it into outlet side of regulator and put a low pressure gauge into the extra port in "tee". This is some of the dangers of trying to be too frugal so one can enjoy the hobby....

Welding shop or propane dealer can probably help....
