I got a Glasscraft ventilation hood for Christmas, and one thing has me baffled. THe directions say to mount it 24" but no more than 36" from work surface. Does that mean from the bottom of the hood or the fan??? The hood itself is about 13" deep. So at it's current height of 30" (bottom of hood to work surface) the fan is 43" from work surface. Should I lower the hood? It seems to be pulling OK, but would it be better lower?
