Hello, I have trouble with my 3/32 mandrels getting a nice tight fit in my EMS 3/32 sleeve. My 3/32 mandrel's are very inconsistant in size does any one else have problems with this? Plus when I go to use my rolling marver the mandrel turning in the mandrel sleeve is not good. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks! Jacque

Try pinching the sleeve a little to tighten. Maybe that will keep the mandrel from slipping. Otherwise you can email the maker I'm sure he would be more than glad to help you out.

Pat's right. Every now and then you have to take a pair of pliers and tighten the very tip of the spinner - Where there's a little cut-out area.

I always pay attention to how tight they are before I start so that I'm not struggling at the end of a bead.

Don't squeeze hard, a couple of soft squeezes and then test the tightness. I flattened a couple of sleeves the first few times I tightened the sleeve on a mandrel.

I press gently with crimping pliers when the sleeve gets too loose. I found out the hard way that it's too easy to over flatten when you use regular pliers. Also, it's a good idea to have an extra set of sleeves on hand. Otherwise, if you ruin one, you might have to wait a long time to get a replacement.

Do what Glowbead, LindaJ, Kym, and Pat said. Works every time.

Hello, Thanks everyone for answering my post. I will use plyers and give it a try. Jacque

Every time that you insert a mandrel, the sleeve loosens a little, otherwise you could not get the mandrel in. Use the crimping pliers. It works great!!!
