Hi Everyone-
I've got a dandy little tutorial out now. It's all about the goofy fish. It's for sale in my Etsy store right now. Here's the link: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=11588250
There's a much more detailed description of it there. Please go look!

Thank you thank you for posting that link, Chris! I hope everyone can find it ok. Sorry about the confusion with the multiple listings. I feel like kind of a knob having this listed in three places and still people can't get to the product. Hopefully that will be remedied soon.

I just sent you your file so, get to work!

Later,
Cathy

Ack! I've loved these fishies for a long time! Bought mine...will hope to put my own "spin" on them so I can find my own "version". Thanks for sharing this great tutorial with us!

You welcome Deanne! It's exciting to sell one of these. I can't wait to see what people do with the information.

PS. I like your bee emoticon.

LOVE the lips. Very elegant way to make them. I can just picture them on some other critters :) Thank-you!

Glad you like them, Lynda! I forgot to mention this in the tut but the lips and the eyes look really nice when you etch them. Try that too!

I started a thread in the Gallery where we can post our fish, here's the link: http://www.lampworketc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2193182#post2193182

These are way too much fun! I'm pretty sure my house will be overrun with them fairly soon :D

oooooh I LOVE your work, I have the mayor of kelp (head), but I love the fish too, I think it would be fun to learn to make one so I'm buying the tutorial, but I know the day is coming where I'm buying a fish, cactus and something ornery from the master :-)
