Hi everyone! :waving:
I'm hoping someone can answer this.....Does paladium leaf melt like silver leaf, or like gold leaf?
By that I mean, gold doesn't instantly dissolve in the flame...but silver does. I'm just trying to get an idea how paladium works, so I can decide if I want to order it.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Virginia!
Palladium is awsome stuff. No, it does not burn off like silver or gold. If you encase it quickly, it will look like silver and stay that way. If you leave it on the surface, is has a very slight looking texture to it and you can get some beautiful shades of pink, blue and greens.

Thanks so much for the answer! I'm mostly interested in using it for surface design. Do you by chance have a picture?
No, unfortunately I don't have any pictures right now, I know they are out there though, I have see a few threads on it on WC and ISGB.
If you are not sure you want to spring for a whole book, we do sell individual sheets, so you can give one or two a try to see if you like using it or not.

I have a great palladium pic (on the surface)...gotta root through old files...
This is a tube made with Moretti clear, wrapped in palladium leaf, then spiralled with a twistie I made out of teal, cobalt, amethyst and rubino transparents. Barb Cohan is the owner of it now and she made a spectacular necklace with it.
