If any of you need help with the layout on your tutorials, I'd be glad to help. I've been a graphic designer for 20+ years and I can design your tutorial to communicate the information clearly and efficiently.
I recently set up an 18-page tutorial to fit well on 4 pages while keeping the readability and comprehension. Helps keep those printing costs down! Here is a link (http://www.rusticstudio.com/downloads_home.htm) to Jewliebeads FREE tutorial that I formatted.
The final product will be a PDF file that you can email to your customers with ease.
I'm offering this service entirely free to LE members. Just pop me an email at patty AT rusticstudio DOT com and we can get started.

mmmmmmm.... lobster rolls!
Patty, I may just take you up on your offer. That's some of the reason i've been putting off a tutorial, because i'm not 100% sure how to put it together and make it really nice. I'm not familiar with that at all. I can design websites, and edit pics, but i've never tried putting together a tutorial.
Thanks for being generous to offer your help with this.

You are a Sweetheart Patty.
I don't have a tut in mind. I'm not an accomplished beadmaker yet, but have to say thanks anyway.
What a sneaky way to get free tuts!!! :-)

I was joking with you. It's a very nice thing to do for people. Lots of people want to write a tut but have no idea how to make it into a PDF.
I think very highly of you.O:)
I'd take you up on it if I didn't have a husband who knew this stuff!!

You did a wonderful job on that tutorial. And if people take you up on your very generous offer it will really save me from spending a fortune on printer ink.
I drained 2 color cartridges and was only able to print 4 tutorials.
I crammed the pages in my tutorial pretty good I think, but I'm wondering if you could actually trim it down even more.

Feel free to email it to me patty<at>rusticstudio<dot>com and I'll see what I can do.
It sounds great to say "20 pages" in the tutorial, but it's meaningless unless each page is crammed with info. In the example case, all the info easily fit into 4 pages.

Patty, if I send you the PDF of it would you be able to work with that? I was too stupid to save the final draft in Open Office before I converted it to PDF and there are some typos I'd like to fix but I don't know how without doing the entire tutorial all over again in Open Office.

Patty,
What a generous offer! I am planning a few tutorials, and just couldn't believe your offer when I read it! I know everyone must be so appreciative of your kindness. And that tut does look great! Looking forward to contacting you in the future. Thanks.
Susan
P.S. I've never had a lobster roll before - but we sure do have some good food down here in Texas!
