I am starting to get some tenderness in my wrist and wonder if this would help. Please give me some feedback on this piece of equipment. Thanks to all.

I love mine . \\:D/I have soreness in wrist and fingers from turning the mandrel. This has certainly stop all the aches and pains for lampworking.
And now with Marks idea(using rivet gun)\\:D/ for getting tuff beads off mandrels I have no pain.
I would highly recommend electric spinner. Just be prepare to wait a while on your order, if you order one. It took me little over 6wks to get mine. There is a waiting list. So get on the list ASP so you can get one.

Thanks soooo much for sharing your experience with me!!!
Hi! *Ü*
I have a bum shoulder and the EMS has really helped me with the pain I would get from long periods spinning the mandrel by hand. Especially when I was on a HotHead and it would take 20 minutes just to try and melt down something. I don't use mine 100% of the time, but most of the time I try to use it as much as I can (a few bead types still work best for me turning it by hand) and it doesn't take long at all the get the hang of it. Also, it's wonderful when you need to do any marvering!

Probably the best tool I have invested in along with the marver.
I have trouble with my hands and shoulder too but the EMS certainly makes it easier and less painful.
If the Aus$ ever improves, I will buy a bigger one for boro.
Cheers

A fantastic tool. I would hate to have to torch without it. No more tendonitis.

The EMS is a fantastic tool, once thru the learning curve you will wonder how you ever torched without it!

Fantastic tool. I had terrible pain in my thumb until I got my EMS (still took weeks for the pain to go away). It does take some adjustment, but in the end you'll be making better beads. Good luck.
I LOVE IT. I use is mostly for spacers and round beads, but to use it with the double barreled brass marver is amazing for long beads.

Hi Janet, is there somewhere I can learn more about Mark's idea?

Yet more praise for the EMS! I LOVE mine! I have a broken neck and lots of nerve damage in my arms, and before I had my spinner I could only torch for a couple hours at most. And it was painful! With the EMS, I can torch for as long as I want. It's the single best tool I've bought, and I'm something of a tool ho!! ;)
One you use it, it will never be the same again :)

I probably wouldn't be able to torch without my EMS because of the pain in my hands. It has eliminated the pain and improved my beads immeasurably!!! You won't regret buying it!!
