Hi:
I'm picking up on some research I started in August. Was thinking about the Paragon (this manuf. for a variety of reasons) Fusion 6 and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with it or opinion about this approach. It is listed under their glass kilns instead of bead kilns but seems to have a lot going for it.
Will be doing primarily batch annealing for space and energy conservation reasons but may order the small $50 bead door just in case. Can get it for much less than a Bluebird XL or Caldera and has comparable chamber volume to Bluebird. Sentry Xpress 3-key digital controller. UL rated. Long-standing local dealer who is well below list price and I'll try to bargain with further - will confirm help with repairs. Brick-lined, top element. 15 amps, 1700 max temp. so I could anneal, fuse, pmc.
Anything else critical I'm missing?
