I know a few of us with the cricket were looking for a marver...

Just wanted to let everyone know that they are available now from GTT.

I called Cindy and ordered it.

It's 30. plus shipping...believe shipping was 5.

If this was already posted somewhere...sorry!:waving:

Ooo, good to know! Thanks for the prompt. I'm shooting them an email today...hoping to hear how progress is going on my "custom" hot pink number :)

Also, did you hear (or get) the possible "elbow" connectors that will allow you to tilt your cricket upward without creating a tight kink in the hoses?

I'm awaiting word on those, too!

Hi De...I haven't set up my cricket yet...so I didn't even think about what I've read about the kinked hose. I may try to reverse the torch on the stand and see how that works. I read that someone did that.I just got my oxycon a few weeks ago and am waiting on shorter hoses and then I'll set it up.

Been using a fireworks torch and just switched over to a hothead that I bought same time I bought the cricket. The hothead is much better than the fireworks and I can't wait to try the cricket. I've stocked up on some boro to try!

Oh thanks for posting this info. I can't live without my torch marver so I took it apart and went back to the minor until I have the rest of the set up. Thanks so much Mikelene :)

Do you know where they have a link to the marver???

I took my minor marver, made a coil from some 16 gauge copper wire
I had, wrapped that around the neck of the torch and secured my
old marver to that. It works great, but I'm going to be setting up
my Minor in the corner so will be needing another marver for the cricket.

Karen....I went back to find my email from Cindy...she attached a pic of the marver with her reply to my original email. Couldn't find it in my computer.
If you send her an email and ask for the link...I'm sure she'll get it to you.

It looks well made and will serve the purpose. You're mighty industrious with that copper wire...love it!

Sorry I couldn't find my link to the pic!

You're welcome...I've never used a torch attached marver..but it looks like it would be wonderful!

Can you see your flame over the edge of the marver?

Yes i can see the flame and candles, i have it pointed up, did the reverse thing (detached the torch from the flat plate it is on and rotated the flat plate 180 degrees, now i also don't have bent hoses) but you can see the flame anyway with the marver attached :)

Beadzz...oh cool..I wanted to see the side view of the marver. I've never used a marver...looks like it will work great ! I need to switch my torch around too...
thanks again for the pic...the pic that GTT sent was a really big pic...so I couldn't see the whole thing in one frame. Can't wait to get this set up and try my torch!!
