Has anyone worked with GT's Green Envy reduction rods and if so, how did you work it or do you have any pics to show? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jack

I haven't worked the rods, but I've tested the frit. I just put the page up for your viewing pleasure.

Hi There!

Just saw this thread...here's a little starter! It's a photo of what the Green Envy looks like worked on a Hot Head (Reduction Flame). Two beads shown - one with heavy Reduction (about 25 seconds in the "bushy" flame) and one with very quick, light Reduction (about 10 seconds):

The one on the LEFT is the light Reduction treatment! Sorry for the somewhat crappy photos - they were taken quite some time ago!

I'd love to see what others do with this glass!

Thanks for the input... I'd love to see others too. (I bookmarked the charts also... Thank you!)

Green Envy is a very subtle reducing glass . . . mostly a nice sheen with light iridescent "ghostly clouds" (sorry I can't really describe it, obviously! lol!) . . . and almost impossible to photograph.

This vessel is made with Green Envy and Mountain Honey.
