ok i got a kiln now what???

i just got a kiln with an pcm programmer but now what..i use moretti glass and i think they have to be in a kiln at 960 degrees for two hours..is that right??any advice would be helpful...thx

Did you get any details/instructions with the unit? I had to do an online google search for mine and ran across a message board discussion that provided various settings...

I set mine at 960 while I'm working, when the last bead goes in, I start the program:

ramp up to 970 in 10 min.
soak 1 to 1.5 hrs (for soft glass, 15 min. per 1/4 inch of thickness)
ramp down to 770 in 2 hrs.
soak for 15 min.

I then cut my kiln off, since it's fire brick, and let it cool to room temp on its own. Hope this helps.
