I am hoping that someone else has had this happen to them and can give me some advice as to what I need to do.
I have a Devilbiss 505DS oxygen concentrator that I've had for about 2 yrs. Today when I went to torch, I opened up the oxy valve on my torch and turned on the machine....like I've done so many times before. The flow meter ball did not rise up and seems to be stuck on the bottom at 0. When I turned the machine off the last time I used it about 3 wks ago, I turned the knob down so the ball was at about 1 LPM and then turned it off. I had expected that this is where the ball would have floated to today. I have done this so many times before, I don't even really think about it. The unit seems to be running fine and the 'Service Required' light does not come on nor does the warning beep sound....so I'm guessing that's a good sign. However, the flame on my torch doesn't seem to be as hot as normal.
Has anyone had this happen to them? Any suggestions?
I am sure hoping that I don't need to send it in for repair. ](*,)
Thanks in advance for any help!
