Bead Release Issues

I've been using Sludge Plus for quite a while and wanted some flame dry release, so I tried Hotline's Flame-dri. I can't even make a small bead with this stuff. Is it that much more delicate than SP? I didn't think I was that heavy handed, but I have yet to finish a bead without the release cracking off. Is it me? Do I need a thick coating of this stuff?

I haven't tried that, but with Foster Fire, when I'm flame drying it, I leave it thicker. Otherwise it doesn't hold up.

You can flame dry Sludge Plus as well. I used it for about 4 months and flame dried everything I made with it.

I'm back to using the SP for now, but I hate to waste an entire container of the new stuff.

Try letting some of the Hotline air dry and see how that works, just for the sake of comparison.
