I know many people can't make it to my classes, and I think it's a great way to share techniques with them.

While doing the research and experimentation for tutorials, I always end up learning new things myself.

Sometimes I have a bunch of anecdotes swimming around in my mind and I just have to let them out.

I get to see pictures of the beads people make with the tuts and feel like a "proud mom". :-)

Hearing someone say you inspired them to try something new is one of the best feelings out there.

They allow me to breathe during times when bead sales are slow.

Oh, and the thought of writing an E-book that focuses on one subject is much less scary than the thought of writing an actual book. :-)

And we, the tutorial buying public, are very glad that you & others do (write tutorials that is).

I only wish I had unlimited funds to buy them all. I just bought Laurie's yesterday (can't resist a good sale) & will buy more when I have some more $$$.

I am a huge fan of tutorials and I only wish I had the unlimited funds to buy them all. For those of us living so far from the main sphere of the lampworking community, it is the only way we can learn techniques. I wish those that complain about the tutorials wouldn't ruin it for those of us who love them.

I'd seriouslly struggle without tutorials... There aren't many classes over here in the UK and I can't afford them anyway.

Praise the lord for you tutorial writers :)
Thanks for all the hard work you put into them :)

I have to say, Sarah, that one of the most important things I learned this week came from "Think Pink" and it had nothing to do with rubino oro!

Your wisdom on striking pink using rubino as the example has helped me make the most beautiful little Effetre opalino rose pink spacer beads ever. Without Think Pink, I would either not have attempted it or my color would have been all washed (burned) out! Instead, I got the rosy glow the color was meant to have. Long story short, I learned to strike pink because of your tutorial.

I'm going to try the same thing with rubino. Think Pink has given me food for thought and inspiration enough to last a very long time. It wasn't just a tut, it was a passing on of wisdom for someone who is always in the right place at the wrong time for live workshops. ](*,)

Thanks a bunch!
