Blown (Hollow) Boro Beads
This class will introduce students to working with hollow borosilicate beads. Day one will cover pulling points from tubing, blowing and condensing bubbles, coil potting, and other hollow techniques. We will also cover some basic tubing decoration and shaping. Day two will introduce students to flaring and inside out work. Students must be comfortable working with larger amounts of glass. Fuming with gold and silver will also be covered (subject to appropriate ventilation).
