This is a really funny and neat glass fact. In my kiln, I have arranged kiln posts along the edges where the elements are. They go a little less than half way up the wall. They are about an inch of so from the elements. This sheilds the glass in the kiln from the radiant heat of the elements. I knew why I did this, but couldn't explain it like this glass fact did. I love getting these emails... I hope it never stops! :D
