Moretti clear - 004 vs 004B

I am new to lampworking and am shortly going to be ordering some glass online. I'm planning on buying a half pound of clear from moretti. I am ok with it being a bit scummy as I'm just learning but will also be picking up some 006-xc to encourage myself along. The site I will be purchasing from has both CLEAR-004 and CLEAR-004-B listed for the same price but doesn't state what the difference between the two is. What's the difference between the two? I am working on a hot head for reference

What other base colors should I be ordering to build a small glass stash?

The 004 is the regular sized rod and the 004B is the 10 to 12 MM size rod.

I am on a hot head and only use the effetre super clear transparent #591006. It has a lot less scumming. If you can find the 7-8 mm size it will be even cleaner.
