Can you make these marbles using 104 coe also?
Yes, you can. There are some working differences between the two types of glass, obviously. But, I have made marbles from soft glass using these techniques. A lot of my marbles use a lot of clear, and if you are using soft glass, I like to use clear like Lauscha or other clear that is not quite as stiff as Moretti transparent. I have also made some using ASK 104 glass that came out really nice. I'm hoping at some point in the near future I can make more soft glass marbles and offer more advice on that subject.

Yep. I'm finishing up the book this week (just re-taking some pictures and doing a final spell check) and I'm going to start working on a pendant book next. But, a lot of what you do with marbles can be done with pendants as well.

Books now available at regular price. Still shipping at the end of the month, though. It's about 95% done. There were a couple photos that we just didn't think really showed what they needed to show, so we retook them this past weekend. I'm finishing everything up today and tomorrow, and they will finish printing later this week. Folding, collating, and binding coming next week, and they should start shipping by the end of next week (fingers crossed).
Ordered mine last week, can't wait. Your marble pics and truly unselfish online advise and encouragement will ensure a good sale of these.

They are shipping tomorrow. We ended up having to change the the paper used on the cover at the last minute. I'm signing all of the books that were pre-ordered, and my sharpie wouldn't stick to the first paper we used. I literally just finished (like two minutes ago) printing the new covers. We are assembling them as I type this. Well, as soon as I finish typing this, that is...
US buyers should start seeing them in their mailboxes mid-week.

I doubt it. I saved it as a PDF file, and the file was well over 100 MB, so people downloading it would be an exercise in futility.
I'm working on a pendant book next, followed by a couple videos. But, those will be later in the year.
Just a quick note...
When we first ran the books, the staples were the wrong length and some of the center pages came loose. I went through the books and thought I pulled out all the wrong ones, but I just heard from someone that they got one, so I may have missed a couple. If you have a problem like that, let me know and I'll send you a new book.

I GOT MY BOOK!!!!!! IT IS AWESOME!!!!! THE TECHNIQUES WILL BE EASY ARE EASY TO UNDERSTAND NOW WITH THIS. I couldnt figure out the flowers and it is nothing that i thought it would be. AWESOME!!!!!!!

hi,,got mine today,,thank you,,although mine also is one that has the middle pages not stapled in correctly,,but I am pretty sure I can fix it...doesn't seem to be too much of a problem,,:grin:
just made my first junk marble,,lol,,,found out..if they fall off the punty even though the electric cord for my oxy-con is a long way from where I work,,they gravitate towards it,,,lol,,and the dust under my desk stinks when it is burning,,,
but on the positive side I found out my ''holey s##t that's about to land on my leg"" reflexes are super quick,,,lol :badgrin:

My book arrived last week and I've finally had time to read it, well, study would be a better word. Chad, I am loving this book! I haven't put anything in practice yet but your book is well written with clear instructions and great photos. I am glad I bought one and the autograph makes it "Over The Top" for me. I LOVE books signed by the authors.

thank you,,but I live in Australia,,and all I had to do was bend the staples open,,put the middle pages in, re-bend the staples,,,,and hey presto,,,,a complete book....
and it's a great book by the way
I have never been able to figure out how to get the marbles off the punty with out getting everything out of shape,,,,now I just have to not drop them ,,,lol

I absolutely love you book. So much great information. Thanks so much for putting it all together in such an easy to understand format. I now have soooo many ideas floating around in my brain. I hope it warms up soon so I can play in the flame.
