View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : OxyCon Part Help
My concentrator starting making a sputtering putt-putt-putt noise, so I opened it up to see if I could figure out what was wrong.
I have a broken part, but I don't know what it's called to try and get a replacement....can anyone here help me?
Part:
151964
151962
Where it's broken:

Looks like the "nipple" that hose goes over on "part" is broken....
What make and model is concentrator.... GOOGLE search for parts by name and model number may produce results....
Also check phone book for local concentrator "doctor", place where they service units for home respiratory care....

It looks like just a small piece chipped off the 'nipple' portion? If so, you could try putting the hose back on and clamping it down a bit tighter...just a thought.
Also, mine broke similarly and I talked with Jack at Unlimited Oxygen about it, he walked me through the steps needed to fix it. Quick trip to the hardware store and a $3.00 brass fitting and I was good to go.
It's a Millenium model and it is the part that inserts into the hose that broke off....my husband can use some silicone and "glue" it back together, but I wanted to fix it the proper way if I could.
I sent the pictures to Kimberly, so maybe she can help me.

You could try HobbiesRus.com Jay sells reconditioned oxycons, maybe he could help....but it may be more expensive that a $3.00 part form the hardware store.
Hey I have a whole box of these. These are called resonators. It quietens the air as it leaves the compressor. You can also remove it completely and replace it with a piece of copper tube. jack
I would be more than happy to buy one from you!

glue will not hold this. it gets very hot, which is why it breaks. Give me your address and I will send you one. jack
What a nice thing to do! :)
