just wondering how many of you have had the chance to use one (or both?) of these tools, and which you would recommend for a beadlining novice.

the only coring i've done is manual, and i gave up cuz i like things fast and easy. (hehe)...so! which one should i get, pretend money is not an issue at this time...just looking for recommendations.

thanks in advance for anyone willing to sit and type to me.

I have the Impress liner and I love it. That being said I have never used the Retro bead liner myself. I had never cored a bead until I got the Impress and have not had any issues with coring beads. One thing to consider is that even with a liner tool you still need to have some patience with lining as if you try to go too fast you will split the tubing or you will wind up with uneven amounts of tubing on each side. Still it only takes me about five minutes or less to core a bead.
