batch annealing

When i am working with soft glass, I anneal once a week doing the whole inventory at once, as little as 50 and as much as 300. I made up a bead holder from a piece of stainless steel screen material, (steel will work also).
This one was made to fit a skutt. But any sheet metal shop could build to suit. Everthing is annealed at 1050 for 30 minutes. sea attached photos..cheers vic

Is this soft glass or boro? 1050 is really high for soft glass.

Hi mr s (great hearts)....it is a ss rack for soft glass.....when I am doing boro the kiln is set at 1050....bead goes from the flame to the kiln......for 30 mins min.......boro is great for us old guys.....we have time to doze while it is heating up.....and a nap while we are working it......slow.....great exotic colours.......
