I'd like my work area to be on a peninsula so I can look out into my studio. My studio is 15 x 20 feet with windows on 3 walls.Any suggestions about ventilation? I was thinking a cooktop vent-600cfm 30" off the countertop vented straight up through the roof. Would I need baffles? I'm hoping not but if I have to I have to:-/. I am using a natural gas/oxygen concentrator with a minor burner. All of the pictures I see are of work areas against the wall...any ideas or pictures to share with work areas away from the wall??

What you want to do is probably doable..... IF you need baffles you could always use a sheet glass that is not thermal reactive (like used in fireplace screens/enclosures) so your baffles are transparent so you can gaze through them...

Thanks Dale,
Good idea with the clear glass for the baffles. Do you think I'll get enough pull from my vent if it's not up against a wall without them? I assume people do this away from a wall sometimes? I don't know...
Thanks for your help:-)
