Bullseye makes lustre glass and it's gorgeous, but expensive. However, you can get small quantities from www.howacoglass.com Jamey is very helpful and her prices are great.

Thanks Linda! I emailed Jamey, so I'm anxious to see what she says.
The lustre glass from Bullseye is the most incredible glass I have ever worked with. It is expensive, but just a few dots on a bead makes a world of difference. It is a reduction glass, but reduces very easily and gives the most incredible metallic finishes. I use some of the colors without reducing it because I like the variation of colors that I get from the glass, like the Copper Green. I love the Uranium also because it reduces so easily that you can change it without affecting any of the surrounding glass. Okay, I really like all of them. Just made a set of beads (in the kiln now) that is made completely of different colors of lustres. Can't wait to see them when they come out. I rarely make wearable beads, but I felt like playing for a little while today!

I love it too. I can't believe I had it for so long before even trying it.

Luster frit is usually around COE 94-96, and is made for furnace work but can usually be incorporated in small amounts into other COE glass. It's available in large quantities from places like Olympic Color Rods, (http://www.glasscolor.com) or in small amounts from many specialty sellers such as Val Cox.

Also, if you go to a seller looking for lusters, also look for the word "reduction" or "reduces" because that means the same thing.

Thanks everyone that helps...I wasnt sure if reduction was the "same" or a tad different.
