What tools do you use to get the cute smiles I am seeing on some of the sculptured beads i.e. some little frog beads I saw in the last few days and some of the snowman beads. I think I saw somewhere that you can use a dental spoon, but I don't have a clue what they look like or where you can buy one.

Any help will be most appreciated.

Thanks, Sharon

I use a razor blade on the end of an exacto handle. :)

You can get cheap dental tools at a flea market if you have one close by, look for the stainless steel ones and just remember to use the tool out of the flame (don't stick tool in fire!) If you don't have a flea market, frantz glass supply and some of the other suppliers carry small dental tools for flameworking. Lots of fun to play with!

I have used a u-shaped linoleum cutter from an art supply store. Exacto makes one to go into their u-shaped handle...cheap! (you know, the ones we used in art class to carve on linoleum blocks to make prints out of!)
