DH just finished building me this wonderful controller box for my kiln, and now I have questions about how to get it programmed that aren't clear in the manual. Does anyone have any experience with this particular controller? TIA.

I found this link. Perhaps you can email them?

Thanks Margriet. I am editing this to sincerely thank you for this link - it's the international Omron site which has much better support than the US site. They revamped their US site sometime last year (since I originally bought the unit) and the new one has no support at all. I found some things that may help. But - if anyone here does have any experience with this particular line of controllers and how to control the "ramp rise rate" settings please post here or PM me. That function isn't well explained in the manual. Thanks!

Ok, I figured it out. What a neat controller. This is going to make life so much easier. For any newbies thinking about getting a kiln without a digital controller, don't do it unless you enjoy babysitting the pyrometer and manually turning the kiln on and off to maintain proper temperature. I decided to have my DH build one for me, and although it took a lot longer than I thought due to priorities, crises, parental requests, etc., it's well worth it. Mark Wilson has a fantastic tutorial over on Wet Canvas if you want to attempt it yourself. Here's the link:
