Hi All,
I've been working on two tutorials, one a bracelet, the other my birds. Both are nearly done, but the bracelet more so. I have a tester for the bird tutorial, but I really could use help the the bracelet. I had hoped to post it today, but preliminary testing pointed out the need for additional instructions. I would like to pick one or two testers this evening and will send the PDF files at that point. The testers will get the test copy as well as the full version when it is done and I'll send you a thank you gift as well.
I still have photos to add, but I'd estimate that this tutorial will be weighing in at about 1.5 MB when it is ready to test. I'd like to find folks that have some wire experience, wire, as well as the following tools:
• Sturdy pair of round nose pliers
• Sturdy pair of wire cutters, flush cutters preferred
• Nylon-jawed pliers or masking tape-wrapped flat-jawed pliers
• File smooth cut ends of wire
• #00 or #0000 steel wool
• Brass brush
Here is the bracelet and a couple of variations:
10 gauge wire
154199
12 gauge wire
154493
14 gauge wire
154200
It uses 10, 12, 14 gauge wire and can be made in a cuff, focal or charm style. I'm including instructions for kiln annealing the wire and for a number of variations, as well as LOS use and boiled egg patina. I recommend practicing with smaller gauge wire first. If you are interested, please pm me with your email address as well as a brief description of your experience with wire.
Thank so much!
