View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : How do you get Floral beads to hang right?
I've been starting my flowers on a lentil shape that's a little heavier on the bottom. Well, it's not working, all my beads seem to hang with the flower tipping forward and pointing down. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for you help!!!

Lisa,
there are several different ways to get them to hang right,
you can add bottom leaves to it, making sure you kind of press the back flatter, after adding them,
you may need to make them a little bigger..
also depending on what you are stringing them on, if the cord or ribbon is nice n tight it helps so they dont have so much movement.
Ive also seen people use small crimping beads right up into the holes.
andddd waimea mist, if I recall right used tiny plastic tubing..
the easiest way for me is to use nice thick cord or ribbons, and keep the necklace at 18 inches so it doesnt get turned by your bosom, lol
anddddddd make sure your beads are nice and tight throughout the peice if using beading wire, not alot of slack.
I make mostly bracelets, with the horizontal holed flowers,

Thanks Laurie, I'm making my daughter a necklace for her HS graduation day. The leaves make sense to me!
