Hi,
I am in a bit of a jam right now. I spent a whole day filling my new kiln, and found out that the annealing phase that is programmed into it is way to fast. I have 1.5" marbles in there right now, and the first holding point after it starts to cool down from 960 degrees is at 750 degrees. This doesn't allow it to sit and hold at the strain point for Moretti which is 850 degrees. Does anyone out there know how to manually ramp this thing down sort of having to reprogram a whole annealing cycle from scratch? I can manually ramp it down tonight if I can just figure out how to do it. (The Skutt glass master manual is almost worthless when trying to figure out how to do anything if it isn't fusing related.)
I am ok for right now because I restarted the cycle which will hold the kiln at 960 degrees for 10 hours before it starts to go through its too rapid annealing/cooling phase.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Eric
