I just found these brass shoe horns at Harbor Freight for $4.99. They are over 12" long and could be used for multiple purposes. Hanging over the end of your bench they could be a frit tray, used for shaping as a marver, make olive shaped beads, etc.1518615185

I just have to say that I bought one two weeks ago and it works pretty slick.

OK guys I have a very important question about this. We almost bought a bunch last night because I was at Harbor Freight. BUT.....There is a BIG warning on the box that says "This product contains materials that when used may cause cancer" and something about California.

That scared me so I put it back. I am assuming it is coated with something and that does not sound safe to use with flames.

No, from what I understand, California has a law about things containing lead and brass has small amounts of lead.

No worries.

Its a Calif Law.
Any artical containing lead MUST have a warning on it.
And Brass has a small amount of lead in the making of it.
I wouldn't worry about it.
