join a broken leaf

I would like to join again this broken leaf..

I have a minor but never i tried to do this.

Please can you suggest me how to?

Put it in a cold kiln, ramp to 1100; hold for a while then punty up and introduce to the back of the flame working forward. Melt each end of the leaf and stick them together; put through a full annealing cycle

I would slowly introduce the stem and the leaf gently to the flame heal the break and then batch anneal it from cold. I have done this in a class works and it workswell just dont put your flame into the rest of the leaf or it will shatter.
