Black Pearl, Monet, Picasso, Renoir, or Michaelangelo?

Just got a haul of Precision 4 glass and have never used these.

Thanks, Jack

Black Pearl is easy, it's a stunning recuding glass. Also keeps it's color when encased.
I think Michelangelo is the same as Sasha's Silver? If so, try reducing and then lightly striking your bead. Lovely purples, blues and greens possible!

Thanks Anouk. Anyone else?

I work on a Hot Head, and here as some results of "reduction" using a few of the colors you mention - encased and not encased; personally I found Black Pearl to be the most stunning and easiest glass...I love the alien I made with it:

Picasso - not encased:

I know some of the colors you mentioned (Monet, Renoir and Michelangelo) go by other names as well...and I have one example to show. I'll put the name you used first, then the name that is also associated with that color to clarify:

Michelangelo (aka Sasha's Silver) - not encased:

Michelangelo/S's S - clear dot encased:

Monet and Renoir I have not tried...

On all colors shown, a base bead was made and then once completed to my satisfaction, I subjected them to a reduction flame and flashed the beads in and out. The silver/reduction effect occurs quickly - and if you like the outcome, avoid returning the piece back into the full flame as some of the reduction/metallic will disappear.

Hope this helps...

UGH I get so mad every time you post this alien lol. I've tried EVERYTHING to get that metallic plum color out of black pearl and I just cannot get it. I get pretty colors out of it, but I want THAT color!
