I love the look of silvered glasses like Psyche and Nyx as raised dots on a black base bead.

Do the rest of you layer a colour under each dot? I've been using Opal yellow which works really well to make the silvered glass pop.

What colours are you all using under your silvered glass raised dot decorations to really make them POP???

Pics would be cool! I will try and take one of my bead which has a black base opal yellow dots covered with Psyche raised dots.

Also do you all put a dot of clear over the top of your silvered glass dots? does it make much of a difference?

I usually don't use a base dot, I just put it on the bead as is, every once in a while I will put Ivory under it, the silvered glass causing great webbing around the edges of the dot. I only use clear if I am encasing the reduction, and I do that quite often. I make the world of difference, experiment and you will see. But if you poke your dot with a pick first then encase it looks better, gives it depth.
