Perky Goddess Nipples-TIP

I was making a goddess bead the other day (I am really pleased with it and can't wait to show it!)...and I kind of found a way to get really nice...ahem...breasts. Instead of dotting the nipples on the goddesses, try using tweezers or hemostats to pull a little bit of the glass outward and up and then melt it back in just a little. I found it gave just a little bit of lift. I made mine the same color as the breast so...this works well when you want to do that. For contrasting ones...I figure the dotting method is best and then you could pull (ouch) with the tweezers for lift.

great idea! i am going to try my first goddess this weeknd (HH & MAPP gas, i don;t hold out much hope), and i will try this!

Melissa, I use a HH and haven't had any trouble with goddesses. I think you'll do great!

Jacinthe's tutorial is excellent...that is how I started...my latest is only about the 4th I have made. :)

The lighting isn't the best...but hopefully you can see her "lift". I call her "Jelly Belly".


One thing...I had been originally trying to make my goddesses in ivory..and that is kind of hard since it is sooooo soft. If you use a stiff color...they are infinitely easier to start out with.

Neat idea Anna, I'll give it a try, although my current goddesses are meant to be a bit saggy since they've definitely been a mother... many times!... I've felt the urge lately though to make a younger, perkier, more petite goddess or even simply a female form, so its the tweezers for her...bwa ha ha!

That might work well for my goddesses with the frit melted into them.

On the solid color ones I heat the ends of their boods and hold them upside down so gravity kinda pulls them the other way.( don't you wish you could get gravity to do that in real life? lol) then I heat the end of my rod and wait until it's almost lost it's glow and touch the end of it on the boob and pull. It leaves the tiniest dot of glass on which I melt down into a little nipples. I don't want big nips on my babes.

Yeah...mine has some pretty big honking nips...lol. Thought it would make her look like a nurturing mother. That is a good tip (;) ) too Kevan! I will try it your way next time!

Gravity would do that, Kevan, if you could live with standing on your head all the time.
I'd buy a really good, well fitting bra instead...
