Hi,
I posted about having problems with pressure from a bbq tank to the torch. I am thinking its the hose or maybe we don't have all the supplies I need to go from #1 tanks to the bbq size of tank? So what supplies do I need and what type of hose? Is there a name for it?
Thanks,
Maggie

You only need two things to connect HH to bulk tank (besides full tank of propane)...
A bracket to mount HH to bench....

And a hose (as long as possible-keep tank outside) with a MALE, 1 inch x 20 "disposable " connector on one end of hose to screw onto torch ( identical to connector found on top of disposable canister), and a POL (Prest-O-Lite or newest incarnation "Put On Left") connector on other end. Its the standard connector with bulb shaped end that all regulators have to connect with tank. Also knows as industry standard CGA-510 connector. OR if hose has the new ACME thread connector for tank it will also work... Its a very common hose found in lumber, building, hardware, camping and RV supply stores...

Its that simple.

Just for the sake of mentioning it, no homemade hoses!!!!! No regulators unless it can operate in 60 to 80 psi range.... Hose has to withstand high pressures 100 to 200psi..... Also hose needs to be embosses or printed on saying it is approved for LPG use and capable of high pressure... Wording can vary but message is same......
