I've found a place in Illinois that might teach a class. \\:D/

Anyone know other places? I doubt I want to really jump in. I'd mostly like to try a sign or two. The charging and guts scares me a little. There is a sign place near here that may close but would probably complete a sign for me if I bend the glass.

I could go with the neon tubing and a book, just to try. What would I need?

I've always loved neon (more than beads :-$ ). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Joe at Technolux in Brooklyn may be able to help. He's got tons of experience supplying the industry. Google him and see if he can get you the info you need. ;)

OMG! I knew someone was going to ask about this! Woohoo. Another glass medium!

Please, please post everything you find out!

I googled and he seems to be on this forum:

Thanks. I want to do this so badly.

I realize it won't be perfection the first time but I want to work with it.

I'll let you know what I find.

So far looks like the glass is 90 coe but they suggest using gas/air not oxy. (If I understood right.) There were suggestions how to make a manifold for use with a GTT torch.

I don't want to start with anything complex, but I do want to start.
