Large Focal, for Newbies with a Hot Head

I posted on my blog a few things about trying to work with a Hot Head Torch.
Making a Large Focal Bead, can be a challenge, but finally success has come my way. I hope Newbies can relate to this particular blog post, and that it helps some of you on your way. I am not that experienced, myself. I just wish to help some, not make some of the mistakes, I made, when trying to accomplish the feat of working with a large amount of glass. great blog i use a HH and am getting into larger beads and pendents i use vermickulite didnt spell that right and most break i need a klin you have sold me thanks

Thanks kathy: I am a self taught lampworker, so some of my techniques may be a different way of getting things done, but it seems to work for me. I hope the little mini tutorial can be useful to some who are just beginning, to make glass beads.
