Sarah Hornik's tut Think Pink has good examples of that color combo (or turquoise instead of copper green)
This is what I made after buying it

Could you be thinking of Kimberly's Twistie Recipe? Check it: http://www.lampworketc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3450&highlight=twistie

It's awesome! Not Rubino, but EDP...similar.

I made that pic. I'm glad you all are still finding it useful! I put it together for my sister, who was a newbie at the time, to give her some ideas/inspiration. The thumnail pictures are of beads I made 6-7 years ago.

I ran across that awhile back and wasn't sure where it came from. What an awesome reference/inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing it. O:)

Candy,

They're really stunning, and a compelling reason for the imprecise to practice dots. Do you mind my asking about sequence? Do you melt in between layers? Center first then shoulders?

Generally speaking, I melt the bottom layer of dots before adding any dots on top or along the shoulders. However, when the glass is reactive, it depends. For example, the first bead in the 2nd row. The dots need to be melted in a certain order for them to take on that design. The opal yellow dots need to be melted down first and then the pink dots on top of that. Only when you have that row done do you add the purple dots along the sides. The purple dots will then move the opal yellow/pink dots into that 6-sided shape. When that's all finished, then you can add the copper blue finishing dots.

Opaque purple is a mover type of glass, so any glass that's next to it or under it will move right along with it. Sometimes the effect is great and other times not.

:) Glad you all like the blog. I don't often do all three colors at once, but usually just two at a time, so I don't get the same reactions you all do. But these glass reactions are so lovely - love that pic above! :)
