Hi , I just started playing with fire about 2 months and love it. First I want to tell everyone thanks for the wonderful wealth of information you share here. I have learned so much from everyone, and the can't wait till I can share something too. I was wondering about bead sizes . My beads look like giant marbles. Is there a standard size or a size that is more commonly used in making bracelets on a 1/16 mandrel and 3/32 mandrel for round dimple beads. In the pictures it is very difficult to tell and I know focals and long beads can be bigger and longer. But I see all the beautiful detail. When I try more dots and encasing my little bead is now the size of giant marble please help. What is a good size to shoot for 7 mm x 10 mm . It would be so wonderful in the tutorial section if they listed finished size of beads. Thanks again Abbey.

Hi, Abbey. Welcome. O:)

You might go to ebay.com and do a search for "lampwork". Bunches and bunches and bunches of bead auctions will come up for you. Browse around the auctions and read the descriptions for the beads. On most auctions you'll find information, within the descriptions, on the sizes of the beads being sold. That should give you a pretty good overview of what folks are doing.

Have fun!
