Does anyone tap their lined beads?

Does anyone tap their lined beads so they screw onto the bracelets? If so do you feel it is a necessary step? If so can you share how you do it and where to buy the equipment to do it?

No it's not necessary and not worth the extra effort.

If anything, there is potential to make them NOT work with the ones that are threaded since they would have to be the same as the bracelet.

In order to make them work with the bracelet you would need to know the thread pitch and size and then see if you can find a matching tap. I don't think it's worth the extra effort and finding a tap with those large size threads may prove to be something of a challenge.
