Thank you for the quick response, that sounds pretty straight forward,by brother was an avid surf person ,most of his remains will rest in the ocean he so loved,I think I will do ocean beads in his honor.I miss him so....Thanks Connie

Oh, Connie - my heart is breaking for you, your SIL and the children. The desire to do the beads in his honor is a testament to your love of him - and the idea to do ocean beads is a wonderful one.

If there's anything I can do to help you out - guidance on either ocean beads or cremains technique - please just PM me - OK?

Warm and gentle hugs to you and the family.

De

Connie:

I have just recently completed a set of boro beads using my sister's cremains. I used the beads to make sterling bracelets for the three sisters and made a key chain fob on a leather cord for our brother. The beads came out VERY nice. I would gladly share my experience/color recipe if you think it would help. (P.S. I practiced making the beads with my precious dog's cremains--so now I have great mementos from both of them.) Many, many people have commented on the beads, and nobody has been creeped out by the idea. Every single person has said, "How cool!"

I would also love some pointer on colors etc esp in boro as I am planning to do this with my fathers ashes and have many family members asking for something. after I post here I will go look at the tut...thanks for that! Connie so sorry for your loss, hugs to you.
