Propane Quick Connect

Hey all...

I will be putting my gas line through a window and don't want to always be disconnecting the hose from the top of the tank. Do any of you use the propane quick connect fittings and if so, where would one get them...i.e. hardware store or Menards/Home Depot kind of store?

I have the same setup (propane hose out of the window when I'm torching), and I use a quick connect at the tank. Works great, and very easy to bring the hose inside after torching. I'm pretty sure I got mine from Arrow Springs, but I would think most hardware stores would have them.

These can be hard to find at the Home Depot type stores. Try your local welding supplies store. However, to be honest with you, it is probably easier to just order them through arrowsprings.

I went to the propane store where I fill my tank and he set me up with a quick disconnect and a low pressure regulator. It was cheaper than online, but it is very simple to just order it.

Check BBQ or camping section of local hardware store or check welding supply or local propane supplier .... The are not all that hard to locate.

An acetylene gas disconnect from welding supply will work...
