Hi all artists; Is powder pink strikable? Or are there any other tricks used with this color?

Yep; it strikes, to a sort of pinkish mocha color. I like using it as the solid/bottom color for rosy flower petals.

Yeah, that's a good color....at least for me :). It does strike from a creamy off-white to the rod color, pinky-orangey-mocha...like Chrissi said. When you first melt it on, it's that milky color, but after repeated heat, it will go darker, and will seem like a "poo" color until it comes out of the kiln. It also reacts with the silver colors, producing a dark contact line where they meet....can produce some cool color variations.
Good Luck!!

Oooh, thanks for the tips. This is one of the striking pinks I was never thrilled about, but I'll try it out with some of the silver glasses. After my less than thrilling results with it, I just put it aside and haven't touched it in ages.

Try it with silver glass stringers....like Zeus or Aurae!! ;-) You can get some really great graphic elements in your work!!
Have fun!!!

and pretty, pretty pink flowers. Thank Bubby for the pic, because ya'll know I don't touch a camera unless I'm forced to.
