Good news! The closing of the Exhibition Center at the Ramada Inn in New Carrollton MD forced the Bazaar Committee to seek a new venue for the BSGW Bead Bazaar. Only folks who had actually experienced that dank pit of a lame excuse for an "exhibibiton center" can imagine how awful it was.
Still, steadfast and loyal bead collectors from all over the region continued to come and buy, bless them!
So all will rejoice that the sponsors of the bazaar, the Bead Society of Greater Washington, were forced to find a new venue. It's the Bolger Center in Potomac MD (www.bolgercenter.dolce.com) located about 2 miles west of the I-270 spur, just off the Capital Beltway. The dates for the Spring Bazaar are May 6-7.
