I have been making some SSL beads with silver cinnamon as a base bead and then putting on Khaos and some black stringer/goldstone. The colors come out really vibrant but after a firing in the kiln they seem to lose some of the vibrancy (purples) - not sure if they are still striking in the kiln? I am firing at 940 - any suggestions on how to keep those colors once I put the beads in the kiln..... Thanks...

I'd re-ask this question over in the patio in Hayley's silver exchange--the most current one--I'd bet you'd get an instant answer! (my guess is you're right--it's still kiln striking--and they'll tell you to make those last so they don't soak in the kiln before ramping down!--also I *think* some folks go a tad lower on silver glass? I don't kiln my own, so....get advice there!)

Try annealing at 920 for a longer period, maybe 1.5 hours.

I was losing a lot of silver reduction colors until I switched my kiln to anneal at 928. Now I keep all the colors-very awesome.

Hi all, thanks for the info on this beautiful color. My questions is ... where can you still buy it? I can't find it anywhere since ASK is phasing out. I LOVE LOVE this color. 8)
