Could someone please share with me the basic steps to making an organic bead on a hothead? Is it mostly just a matter of using silver foil/leaf with glass or am I missing out on something? I don't exactly know where to start...
Thanks!
Vanessa

Here is a really good one

I just make an ivory bead, roll on silver foil, Rub bead on marver a bit to make sure the silver is on good. I then either roll in frit or mostly I like transparents so you can see silver thru. I heat the end of rod till soft then take out of flame for a second. I do this because because if it is molten it will burn your silver. then you cad do dots or stripes whatever you want. You can keep the bead warm under flame where you are not burning silver off. Does any of that make sense?
Here is a shitty picture of some

Yep.. Shawn, I'm going to print them and add them to the whole tips and tricks tut you offered.... THAT is a really sweet tut.
Thanks.
Joanna
I've been known to make an organic or two! LOL any color base, silver foil, frits and enamels. It's pretty much just a freeform thing. Experiment and have fun and eventually you will find things that work for you.
